Douglas Tardif
Douglas Tardif,
Managing Director

A man of many talents, Douglas Tardif has enjoyed considerable success as a businessman.  He has been employed as an IT consultant both in Canada and internationally with foreign governments and the United Nations.  Within North America, he has acted as a consultant to the trust and newspaper publishing industries.  In addition to his IT consulting, Tardif offers professional training and coaching on new ventures, business deals and addresses reference requests for corporate clients.

Tardif's interest in the entertainment industry initially developed through his love of theatre.  He has appeared as the lead in productions such as:  Oliver, The King & I, On Golden Pond, and The Odd Couple.  In 2009, Tardif took his skills back-stage to direct a series of three plays, The Pioneer Spirit written by local playwright, Paul Tremeer.  Eclectic Diversions is currently in discussions to adapt these plays into a feature film.

Tardif has extended his acting to also encompass television, film and commercials, proving that he is comfortable both in front and behind the camera.  In 2005, he took a supporting lead role in the independent feature film, A Thousand Hills where he played mischievous grandfather, GGF.  Tardif found that being bilingual in both French and English was helpful when that same year, he shot a bilingual short film directed Jay Fields, entitled, Desastre.

A gifted writer, Tardif has recently released his latest novel, Pirates of Las Tortugas.  Semi-autobiographical in nature, the book is comprised of a series of short stories recounting Tardif’s misadventures while working in the Caribbean as an IT consultant and undercover criminal investigator.  One of these short stories, Blessed be the Gullible, is currently being adapted into a feature length screenplay by colleague Lise Moule.  Moule has already adapted one of Tardif’s short stories:  a mobster drama entitled Contract of Convenience which was inspired by true events.

Another project, a film noir graphic novel entitled Humpty Bigheart & the Insubstantive Case is taking shape with the assistance of Tardif's creative partner, Derek Carter, an award winning illustrator, who has worked on projects for Disney and Dreamworks.

2011 looks to a busy year with Eclectic Diversions Inc. ramping up production.  First on tap is a romantic comedy feature film, Middle of Somewhere, which is currently scheduled for a winter 2012 shoot.  Tardif will serve as executive producer on this project.  Continuing with his love of theatre, Tardif is directing a production of The Spirit Renewed, part four of a five part series written by Paul Tremeer.

About Us
Lise Moule
Lise Moule,
Producer,  Screenwriter,  Actor

Prior to entering the entertainment industry, Lise Moule spent over a decade honing her business skills in the travel and high technology industries working for companies such as P. Lawson, American Express and Sun Microsystems of Canada Inc.  Following several years in marketing and public relations, Moule took a hiatus to raise her young children.  During this period, she studied film and television production, screenwriting and acting.  She then segued into production, acquiring skills and working knowledge of the various crew positions on an independent film set.

With her corporate background, producing was a natural next step.  Moule did stints as supervising producer on the independent thriller feature film, The Long Weekend, and as production manager for television reality series, Chevrolet’s Aveo Amazing Toronto Adventure Show.

Following completion of these projects in 2005 Moule decided to concentrate upon her acting career.  That summer she joined the cast of three feature films including:  Awakening:  Zombie Night 2 and A Thousand Hills where she played farm wife, Alice.  Later that fall, she landed the lead in both a short film and the music video Left by Time for the Russian electronic trio, Time is Up.

C2006 was equally productive for Moule.  She completed a principal role in an independent feature film and supporting roles in two other indie features:  Pros and Cons, where she appeared as a disillusioned trophy wife and To Each Her Own where she played the homophobic mother of a lesbian.  In November, she accepted a recurring role on the web-based comedy series, Team Leader.

The following year, Moule landed a role on an episode of the television series, Life or Death.   During the summer she played a serial killer mother in indie horror feature, Playing Cards.  That year, Moule also completed training in voice-over work.

In 2008, Moule accepted a role in the independent feature Moments Before, but spent the majority of her time working behind-the-camera developing several projects, including completing two feature-length scripts:  romantic-comedy Middle of Somewhere and mobster cat-and-mouse drama, Contract of Convenience which was based upon colleague Douglas Tardif’s short story.

2009 was a busy one for Moule.  She shot an episode of the television series Ghostly Encounters, landed leads in a short film and web series pilot, and took a supporting role in the short film Love, Marriage, Miscarriage, a TIFF 2010 Official Selection.  Behind-the-camera, Moule signed on with Tardif’s production company Eclectic Diversions Inc., where she is currently working as a producer and screenwriter on several of their projects, including adapting a pair of recently optioned novels, Carousel and Carousel, The Missing Years.

This year has been just as busy for Moule, with several projects on the go both in front and behind-the-camera including a supporting role in the independent feature, The Collapsed, and ramping up development of her romantic-comedy feature, Middle of Somewhere for which she will take a supporting role and co-produce.

In addition to her feature film and television acting credits, Moule has appeared in commercials, infomercials, corporate videos and numerous short films.
